Searching for Help?

If you feel stuck, confused and a little bit desperate, welcome.

I help individual adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, painful relationships or spiritual harm. Through EMDR, somatic and cognitive tools, we’ll work to help today while we also go deep down to the roots for transformational healing - at both the brain and body levels. Appointments are offered in person in Wichita and online across Kansas. If some of the list below sounds familiar, schedule your free consultation to talk about working together.

Specialties

  • Anxiety feels like it affects everything: your brain, your body and your relationships. It’s exhausting.

But therapy is a space to slow down your brain, make sense of what's happening in your body, and practice new responses with guidance & support. Whether your anxiety is primarily cognitive (like worrying) or primarily physical (like muscle tension), or a mixture of the two, we’ll figure out what’s happening for you!

  • Trauma isn't just what happened to you – it's also what happened to your nervous system. If you have been to therapy before but feel like you aren't better, you may need a treatment that blends both brain and body.

That’s exactly what tools like EMDR and somatic work do: they bring your whole self into the room for healing. Helping people heal from trauma is one of my deepest passions in life - I’d love for you to find healing too!

  • Humans are deeply wired to seek supportive relationships, but relationships can also become places of enormous pain and confusion.

Whether you’re grappling with the legacy of an abusive relationship, a tense romantic relationship, bewildering family interactions, or even estrangement with relatives, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

  • Spiritual communities can be tremendously life-giving. But also sometimes: devastating, leaving lasting scars on your brain and body too.

Therapy can be a place to wrestle, grieve and move toward healing so that trauma and loss can transform into post-traumatic growth.
